when shall i take pregnancy test?

Ok this is going to sound complicated as i'm totally confusing myself but i will try my best to explain.

I was on the contraceptive pill microgynon 30.

3 weeks ago I was told to come off it for a while by my doctor due to high blood pressure. This was straight after my 7 day break so after the break i just didnt carry on taking it.
I changed to a similar pill one week later but during the week i was having unprotected sex.
Now just over 2 weeks later I am anxious that i may have become pregnant. Beacuse I am now on the contraceptive pill i dont have a break for about another week and just wondering if it is possible to do a test now and whether it would show up positive if i am.

Please not judgemental answers...I know it may seem silly to some people and i should have been more careful but i can deal with the consequences either way.

Ok, my situation is EXACTLY the same.

I was on microgynon 30 and around 3 weeks ago I stopped taking it. My partner and I are ttc but also it was making me really fat. So in my break week it took 5 days (usually 2/3) for a really light withdrawl bleed but nothing since then. I have been having period symptoms, really light cramp, sore lower back and feeling sick but not actually being sick. I want to take a test but I don;t know if its too soon.

I know I don't have an answer for you but I was happy to see someone with the same problem. Hope everything goes ok for you!
