warrants in other counties? And if so, what do they do? Do they send you to the other county where you have the warrant? For example, if someone was arrested on a warrant in Los Angeles, CA for driving on a suspended license and went to court and had to do a couple days in jail and finished it, but still had a warrant in another nearby county in California (for the same reason, but with an added failure to appear on that warrant), would they be transferred to that county to go to court and find out their judgment? Or would the LA court let them sort it out themselves and send them home without transferring them to the other county? And I am talking about California, but in general would help too. Thank you in advanced!
Oh, okay, thank you. This information is very helpful.

No, person would not be let out of jail until all their warrants are cleared. It may take time, but the sheriff's department will transport a defendant to another county within the state. I just had some guy in my courtroom yesterday who was arrested in San Diego for a Los Angeles County warrant. He cleared his SD warrant first and then sat in SD for seven days before he was transported to LA to clear his warrant here for some minor drug paraphernalia charge.
