...targeted towards the opponent? Everytime I watch Rafa Nadal play tennis on tv, i often notice that he flashes an angry stare everytime he wins a critical point. I would just like to know if the angry stare is targeted towards the opponent. On TV, i wouldn't know which way he is looking at. If it were targeted towards the opponet, it would appear rude although effective for intimidation. An officemate told me that the stare is towards the opponent. I previously thought his angry stare is targeted at the audience to pump them up. I never thought they were directed at the opponent because he seems like a nice guy who never misses to apologize to the opponent everytime he wins a point via an inadvertent winner that hits the net.

Well, I totally agree that Rafael Nadal is a really hard working polite good nice tennis player.

I noticed these angry stares too, mostly to the opponent, But I do not think that he does it in purpose like her got used to this face expression when he wins, some people smile when they win sometimes people jump when they win, sometimes people scream or shout when they win, but Rafa he just stares at the opponent. No tennis player commented about his stare, so I think that they do not mind.
