judged by the righteous? For example, say someone is on vacation Monday.
Unbeknownst to them, their boss and their boss' boss are planning to ambush them upon their return, figuring they won't have caught up on their email.
The ambush might consist of a stern meeting to discuss that someone's performance on a particular task, as well as their conduct in an email chain dredged up from several months prior.
Assuming that this is a thinly-veiled attempt to startle the person into anger about being "accused" of wrongdoing, then enabling the bosses to counter with disciplinary action for things in the email taken out of context (but, conveniently, with no one on hand who has directly witnessed nor able to corroborate for the employee), will the bosses answer to God? Or, will other human beings need to act to ensure justice is served?
In other words, what if God happens to not exist, or exists in a form where the petty dealings of humans and their little world are of no consequence? Is it best to just assume all will be well in an afterlife as colorfully imagined in the Bible? Or is it best to take action and ask for forgiveness later?
