..."unlimited" ? I've always wondered if you could spend a whole day at Olive Garden just eating salad and breadsticks. Would they kick you out after awhile? or Actually give you an "unlimited" amount of breadsticks and salad?

all answers are apreciated and i hope that i have inspired somebody to actually try this and see if it's true =)

you cant just sit there til ur hungry again, thats loitering. if you could actually eat nonstop that long, yes, it really is unlimited.

Yes it is unlimited! However, the whole idea of "unlimited" or "all you can eat" is an interesting one. When people know that they can eat as much as they want, they usually eat very quickly due to the excitement, which makes them fill up quicker than they would if they were eating a regular meal.

Olive Gardens advertise their restaurant as giving unlimited salad and bread sticks. I imagine that they mean what they say. I am sure that most people do not take advantage of their offer, Imagine eating nothing but salad and bread sticks all day?

i know that at old country buffet, they do, u know they SAY that the food is unlimited. in college, my dad and his friends went there and they each had like 20 deserts and they almost ate the place out, haha. they liiiiiiiiiiiiiied!

Hm.. I'm not sure. I know if they would let me, I totally could because it is so delicious. I hope if you sit there all day though that you would leave a large tip!!

They are unlimited so long as you purchase a main meal as well. You can't just go in, sit down, eat the free stuff and then leave.

Though I doubt they'd allow you to stay the whole day even if you did purchase food.

omgg lmao, i went there in times square.. yess it is unlimited! we ordered a BUNCH of breadstickss for free, we were so full! i couldnt even finish my main course meal.

but they only give u unlimited if you actually order something

Unlimited means when you purchase the meal of $8.95, you get free or "unlimited" portions of bread sticks, soup or salad and smaller sizes of pasta.
I couldn't get past half of the 2nd bowl of pasta. If you want to try go for it, let me know how your stomach deals with all the dough in it.
