When Is Tmo Getting Some New Bb Equipment?

If I remember correctly, Everyone used complain that TMO was the only one with the new blackberry. When the pearl was released Tmo had exclusive rights to it for at least a few months. It's all relative. What i honestly wish they did was what they did with the original 7100 series and 8700 series. They released a version for each carrier and just gave each version a different letter designation. What happened to that?
 
I have seen eaccess.com give letter designations to different devices. They have the 8800c, g, and r. For the Pearl they have 8100c and 8100. I have seen a few people here on the forums who have the T-Mo version call it the 8100g.
