When is the best time to go to Busch Gardens Williamsberg?

Im thinking of either going the end of June or beginning of September, well in the summer when is the best time to go. Basically to beat crowds and extreme heat!
 
To beat the crowds you have to go at a time when the kids are back in school. That would be before summer vacation and in the fall.

My favorite time of year to go is in October, though. The Howl-o-scream thing they do is really good and you can still do the rides. Plus they're open later I believe.
