When is metal gear solid released?

I'm so excited to see metal gear the movie but I can't find any release dates at all I know it's this year it comes out and I can't even find a list of actors who are going to be playing snake ect.... Metal gear should hopefully break the mould with game/movie tie ins as Kojima is producer

Kojima has been trying to make a movie since the second Metal Gear Solid game. He has sacrificed gameplay for cutscenes, and the most recent game - Metal Gear Solid 4 has next to no gameplay in it.

If you're talking about an actual cinema release film, I would go for either Hugh Jackman or Russell Crowe as Snake, and I would set it in Alaska at Shadow Moses (the first game on PSOne).

I can't believe you still bang on about that, look, the game has as much, if not more, gameplay than Gears of War and Call of Duty 4 single player, just because it has extremely long cutscenes doesn't mean there is no gameplay. Then again you probably fell asleep during the cutscenes whilst a mysterious person played the game and you only woke up during the cutscene bits.
