When is it best to book the UKCAT test?

What is the downfall of booking the test in September?
I haven't started preparation properly yet, and was thinking of booking it for september, but is that too risky due to interviews?
 
Interviews for what? Uni? there won't be any university interviews that early anyway, there is a deadline in October or something that medical applications have to be off by interviews won't be until after then, they wait until all applications are in before deciding who to interview.

September sounds fine, it gives you the whole summer to prepare, I think you need to have done the UKCAT before you apply though because they want your results on the UCAS form.
