When in the entirety of human history has religion ever been tolerant and accepting?

There have been incidents in which a religion has no interaction with another religion.
Look at Japan during isolationism.
Also, Hindus tend to be incredibly tolerant.

salam. tolerant and accepting to what....?

anyone going against the revelations to the messengers and miracles shown by them was going against God anyone who didnt listen to his Creator and plotted against his messengers was an enemy of God and God is all powerful....after that no man can claim to fight in the name of religion unless.... someone is making the religious/innocents suffer....someone who is plotting against the spread of religion...someone who is spreading evil...not just because of a person's religious choice or choices that cant harm anyone else...may Allah guide us.

Check out Quakerism (also referred to as The Religious Society of Friends). They have a long and storied history of standing against slavery, racism, bigotry, violence, and injustice.

20th century and on. Look at Neo-Pagan religions. Very humane and peaceful.
