When I'm filming my project....?

any ideas or tips? It's going to be at night, so night vision is going to be required, but there will be points when it wont be used and we'll just use temporary light. I'm still unsure on how I'll get it ON my computer, but I have a nerdy friend for that! lol

but any ideas would be good...
