was it called? I can't remember what the story was about or what its name was, but I recall some form of conflict between emus and peacocks. There was a point in the book where the emus had apparently all died, and their bodies were buried upside-down in a vast field with their legs sticking up above the ground. Is there anyone who recognises this and can tell me the name and purpose of the book? It's always haunted me and I'd like to identify it.
