When I run for gym I get tired easily...?

Tomorrow we have to do a 12 minute run in gym (that's where we run laps around the gym for 12 minutes straight. Well we can walk around too.) When I run in gym, I get tired easily. Is there a way I can make myself not so tired when I run? I'm 14, almost 15, if that means anything.
And also, is there any way to get the 12 minutes to go by faster? I'm not a big fan of running, so the faster it goes the better. xD
