When i go to play a video on my ipod touch, weird symbols and japanese writing pops up?

My ipod touch worked before, but now when i go to play videos from the internet it let's me go on the website but not play the video. Weird symbols and stuff pop up on my screen and then the browser closes.. i need help :p
