When eating out at a nice restaurant is it bad manners to pick up a chop and start gnawing it? There was a group of six people.
It wasnt sophisticated gnawing, it was chew it until the bones were dry!
BTW I am not talking about me, I use a knife and fork whatever the food!

Hahahah - good point.

Finger food is always a problem when trying to maintain a graceful air of politeness when in good company.

This is where you rely on the good manners of those around you, who may either be or have been in a similar situation.

Everyone realises that chops are difficult to eat discretely. They also realise how tasty a good chop can be, and they make allowances for the person eating.

The temptation to growl must be resisted. If you must growl, do it quietly.

Savour the experience - be sure you get all the meat from the bone (and from between your teeth) before politely engaging others at the table in conversation.
