When do you predict the western civilization to fall?

Just wondering because none of the "great" ancient civilizations have survived. Wether there rule/rein was five years to ten thousand they have all crumbled at some point.
When will it be our turn and how do you think it will happen?

It already has. The financial breakdown was the last straw. The family is broken, same sex marriages are legal, husband and wife live like strangers under the same roof and living together without marriage is commonplace. Atheism is the order of day and the scarce resources are being spent in grandiose and domination of weaker nations. There is no high aim in life and most people live like animals. What else you need to pronounce the western civilization dead?

Ok you cannot deny that it is beginning of the end !

Sometimes it seems it is starting. Invading Iraq might be the main trigger, or maybe it's simply the collective stupidity of people taking mortgages that they couldn't afford. It's hard to know who to blame more, those that took the mortgages or the greedy people who offered them. Maybe the problem is that our money isn't backed by gold, but if things get really bad you'll find that you can't eat gold so it can be worthless too.
