I have a friend that I've known since we were kids. We are both in our late 30's now. He has a good heart but like most everyone has done some stupid things. He's been in prison and now he's basically homeless, he can't find a job and it's just a real sad mess but one that has got himself into. I don't want to abandon him at all but I do not want to be used either. I told him he could stay with me as long as he had a job. Well he got a job and lost it after one day and now he is upset that I told him to leave....with no place to go. He is also involved in the Aryan brotherhood which he told me was a religious based group but from what I've read it is racist which I am totally against. When is it a hand out and when is it a hand up?
