When do you do your ovulation tests ?

hey girls,
Just wondering really when the best time to do an OPT is?

This is the first month I have bought some, (the clear blue ones with the smiley faces).
I have a 27 day cycle and am currently on CD9, so I am going to start my OPT tomorrow.
I was going to do it with my first pee in the morning, but looking at some other questions on here, i have seen some girls say do not test with your first urine of the day.

I work 9-5 so If I don't test in the morning I will test at about 5-6pm when i get home.
Would this be a better time to test?

I use my smiley face ones in the morning around 7-8am before I go to work, I'm not sure what the best time to test is.
