I have been taking morphine from 2002 for a benign 30gram prostate growth my dose has been 150mg per day since then i am also taking along with morphine is Arthrotec 450mg Baclofen 60mg Dihydrocoeine 160mg Diazepam 10mg Mirtazipine 45mg Venflaxine 75mg

Just would like a response to my concerns with medication , also i saw a conslt pshyciatrist Jan 2007 was given an increase 15mg mirtazipine and to start taking effexor 75mg with mirtazipine and was told this was cutting edge psychiatry was advised within 3 months i would be put on a mood stabilizer but never again was seen again is this correct info ?
Are you asking "when do withdrawals start after NOT taking morphine? ...only you can answer that....stop taking it and see how long it takes you to feel rotten...like a bad case of the flu it might only take hours after taking last dose to start feeling withdrawals. However, if you are still in pain and you need the morphine then why would you stop? But if you want to stop taking it you can by decreasing the dose slowly over weeks. good luck.
