my husband and i bought an indonesian frilled lizard about a week-2weeks ago and i have yet to see him eat. do they eat at night or something? our leopard gecko eats no matter who or what is watching him he don't care, doesn't even notice if one of the dogs is watching. but i have yet to see the frilled lizard eat. we put some crickets in there and mist the place a little to count how many are left (their disappearing) but as for actually watching him eat, we can never catch him. is he still getting used to us or something? when i put some crickets in there, he'll lay very still and even close his eyes when they get close or crawl on him. why? how can i make him eat in front of me so i know he's eating?
i have noticed he's shedding some around his face will that effect him from eating? and how big do they have to be before you can start feeding them fruits and veggies and stuff like that?
