When did tv began to not have racism in it?

Hi, I'm writing a research paper about racism in television of how in the 1900's there were only white families in it and not colored people. But I can't find any references online at all! So I thought about maybe I can write about when it became to be cultural? If you can find me any sources or tell me any things to write about, it would be very much appreciated!

It has always been "cultural". There is just as much "racism" on television today than ever, from all sides. Just because the early shows were all Caucasian, did not make it racist. Exclusionary, perhaps, but not racist. Most of the early shows did not mention race at all, so, since Racism means considering your race superior to another, were not racist.
