when can i put my old fish into their new tank?

i used to have a 10 gal tank i just got my new 29 gal tank. it is filled half with old water half new. also with conditioner. how long do i have to wait to put my 14 fish in.

if you put them in now theyd be okay, but if you wait 24 hrs thatd be even safer no need to wait days or a week, as long as you have conditioner in and the temperature is a about the same as before. You could also put the fish in a bag (like how the petstore gives them to you) and put the bag in the water for a couple hours so they can adjust to the new temp !

well if the fish has dirty water u need to put new warter in

I would say if you get this stuff at the pet store called fish saver or something you could put them in right away but if not, just cycle if for like a few days to a week since you already have lots of the old water in there.

If you want to be sure and not to lose any fish I would wait a few days with the tank cycling.

Don't forget that you also want the temperature to be as close as possible between the old tank and the new tank.

12 to 24 hours. I am so happy to hear about your tank change! I just read about some person who wants to keep a wild catfish they caught and want to keep and I am mad. This cheered me up because there are people in this world who do care and who aren't selfish! Your fish will be very happy and you should be happy that they are happy =D
