I was wondering when a person is not permitted to be on their cell phone or laptop while on a flight. I understand that at certain points it's alright and at others it is not. When are these points and what is the reasoning behind it?
You are never allowed to use cell phones on plane. You can use things like laptops and MP3 players but not cell phones. The captain will let you know when you can use there things, it is normally about 15 - 30 minutes into the flight.
