...etc.)? We've been through all the stage 1 fruits and veggies and he sits unassisted and shows all the signs. Our pedi doesn't want him to have meats until 7 months.
He's 6 months.
FYI - My son is grabbing food off our plates and grabs the spoon when I am feeding him. He's not ready for real food, he'd choke.
 
As soon as they are ready. My daughter became bored with stage one foods by 5 months and that's when we went to stage 2. She was even eating some table foods with us like mashed potatoes and mashed fruits. Doesn't hurt to give it a try!
