I don't know, what would normally happen to a building that lost over 20% of it's supporting structure, burned for hours, and was subjected to blast force winds estimated in the 250-300mph range from a falling building.

obviously it was much easier to stealthly place the hundreds of pounds of explosives which could go off at any time from stray static electricity or radio transmissions , along with all the wiring, without anybody knowing it weeks in advance.
