certificate w/ the photos? So, i recently got my citizenship and yesterday I applied for my passport. Now, they took the 2 passport size photos, the application form and my original naturalization certificate and a payment for the fees.

My question is, the people from the post office actually get to keep the naturalization certificate to process this or did she forgot she had it and didnt give it to me? Im trying to make sure, I wish I asked at that moment right there....

The post office sends it to the passport office, which will eventually mail it back to you. No mistake

No the certificate is not kept at the Post Office. They are just an official passport application acceptance center....They will forward your documents to the passport office, who will process everything and send back your original documents.

p.s: Congratulations on becoming a Citizen !!!!! I am anxiously awaiting my interview letter....
