When a guy asks you to a dance, formal, and you know he likes you, but ends up dancing with other girls half the time, what does it mean????

I recently went to a formal dance, with a guy that likes me, but I don't like him, and I danced with him a few songs, but he danced with like 3 different girls, other than me. I didn't dance with other guys, but what does it mean? I'm in High School and I don't care about him or WHO he danced with, but the fact that he asked me, paid for everything and then danced with other girls pisses me off!!!

lol Engineer "It means nothing. However, it appears you have issues. Talk to your school counselor. He or she can help you." is it really that big of a deal to go talk to a counselor?

maybe he just wanted to be viewed as someone who gets a date to the dance.
 
Deffinitely not a big deal. When you go to a dance with someone, they're likely not going to want to spend the entire night dancing with just you, unless you're dating and even then they might not.

At a high school dance, at least at the ones I've been to, most dates don't stick with eachother the whole night. Everyone switches it up, and even asks random people they don't know.

I wouldn't worry about it- I think him being your date and paying for you outweighs the 3 girls he danced with.
 
through my experiences he is just super nervous and he doesnt want you to think that he is stuck on your and very clingy so hes actually being very polite by not taking up all your time and allowing you to dance with other guys you may be interested in.
