guidance, what do you do? Even after giving choices, after explaining reasons behind requests, telling the child what I need him/her to do (and why), getting them excited for what's next, doing a wiggle game, the child says no, and runs away and laughs when I ask them to come back. This is during a short hour of watching them and engaging them in learning activities. They are not my children. I'm not interested in bribing or any kind of corporal type approach. What do you suggest?
