Hi
My car was pulling toward right side automatically even on flat road.
I went to Brakes Plus, got the wheel alignment done, then the manager told me that problem is because of "Tire pulled", so he asked for Tire rotation.

He did that , now my car is pushed towards Left side.

Finally manager said that i should get my rear tires replaced,

What do you think i shall do ?

One more thing , i had new rear wheels from Costco... after rotation they are in front now....but problem is still there....

do you think replacing the rear ones also will fix the problem ????

Sounds like the guy should work for Autozone, they don't know anything either.

I got to get this straight. He took the money for Alignment, then bumped you i.e. took more money for tire rotation and now wants to sell you tires?

Find another shop.

A majority of steering pull can be attributed to one tire having lower pressure than the opposite tire. Make sure you have all tires filled to prescribed pressure, then see if you still have a pull problem.

it is very common for tyres to wear in a way that the can influence the cars steering so I would recommend to put 2 new tyre on the front and try again even new tyres can do the same .if so swap them left to right and the car will either steer straight or in the opposite direction.A wheel alignment will very rarely cause a car to steer in any one direction unless the steering wheel is not straight. So to anyone that tells you that you need a w/a because when you let go of the steering wheel it drifts to one side has no idea on what they are talking about and should learn to drive because you should never take both your hands of the wheel anyway hope this helps

Why would you have a four wheel alignment done at a third-rate shop? I'll bet all the money in my pocket they didn't align the car with Toyota's recommended weights hanging on the doors with a Hunter alignment machine. A Hunter GSP-9700 wheel and tire balancer could weed out bad tires if that really was the cause of the front-end pull.

Toyota does not recommend cross rotating tires.

swap the front tires from left to right if the pulling goes away you know it in the tires PS if the pulling goes to the right you know the tires are defected.PS I run across that problem all the time.
