What's your worst programme on TV?

Escape to the county.

The wife Sky+'s this tripe every flippin day and is clogging up the planner. Could not give a monkey's what house some stranger wants to buy that costs

Snog, Marry Avoid? BBC Three is usually a great source of tolerable trash and guilty pleasures, but this programme is infuriating! Why? One word: Pod! What an irritating voice!

What are the odRAB on people being able to post just one programme with a reason?

Anyway, for me it's Eastenders. I know it's not the worst made or acted show, but the hype it generates drags it down several notches. Plus, its fans seem to think shock=quality.

I don't watch shows I don't like..x factor and soaps but my hubby watches come dine with me and though it can seem funny some of the time, most of the time it's just a group of people arguing so I find something else to do when it's on..yesterday I did the ironing when it was on..yes it was that bad

All soaps

Talent shows X factor, search for the next whatever...

So called reality shows of pointless individuals katona, what katie did next!!!!

Cookery shows...

except Nigela :D

:D - I live alone so am able watch whatever takes my mood but I will admit I so watch some utter trash, I can't for example skip past Dog The Bounty Hunter if I see it on Bravo when channel hoping - I know it is dreadful but for some reason I enjoy it :)

Hard to say. There are lots of programmes I THINK I would hate, but without acutally watching them I wouldn't feel qualified to comment.

I did sit through X-Factor with my sister, and there is a show that neeRAB to be put out of our misery! I hate NCIS purely because no matter what I seem to watch, it's always "coming up next!"

I dont know. If I had to pick blind (ie without having watched the show) I'd deffo go for something like Strictly or America's Next Top Model, something like that. Or Most Haunted. Or Will and Grace, Or.... :)

I completly second this, programmes made about Katona, Andre, Price, Reid.

I just find it so over the top and pointless, I'd much rather they gave this amount of fame and airtime to someone with a talent for something.

Cookery shows too, far far too many of them on, get over it its only a bit of dinner, televising someone cooking I just don't understand.

Anything to do with showing people around house, since when as being a fly on the wall as an estate agent shows someone round a gaf been entertaining, I don't get it myself.

Lastly antique programmes, cash in the attic and all that, seem to be obsessed with these shows, dunno why it's another genre I don't understand the entertainment value of it.

I tend to think all the soaps are bad... had to sit through Emmerdale this evening while eating dinner and I think it's just really depressing. I just stuck my head in the last issue of Mac Format. A lot of reality trash and anything shown on ITV2 is also rubbish.

And much of what's on BBC-3 (the brilliant Family Guy and repeats of Doctor Who being the obvious exceptions).

Actually ITV-4 is fairly awful too, but ITV-3 is not bad at all, as most of the programmes are repeats of the good quality dramas that ITV-1 used to produce in the distant past, but rarely does today.

The wife also has to record every Grand Designs. Yet more property bilge.

But to add to the list

X Factor
Strictly C D
GMTV or whatever it now is.
Anything on ITV2
Most of ITV 1
Emmerdale
More4 (for showing non stop Grand Designs)
FrienRAB
Hollyoaks.

Anything presented by either Brucie,Fearne Cotton or Vernon Kay.

Think that will do for now.:o

Any of these buy-a-house, find a house, auction a house, in the sun, not in the sun, kind of programmes - I don't care if you're looking for a new house, just get on with it and stop filling the airwaves with this kind of tripe!

Panel shows - just how many "celebrity" panel shows are there now?? Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You etc etc.. Can't stand them, all they seem to be is who can "out-funny" eachother or massage their own ego the most.

7 Days - ugh. Need I say more?

Daybreak - just turgid.
