Whats your top 6 favorite movies...

Yikes! This is hard - my list changes with my mood, but at the moment this would be my top 6, in no order:

The Goonies
The Labyrinth
It's a Wonderful Life
Clueless
LOTR (I'm counting the trilogy as one film!)
From Dusk Til Dawn

The way I see it, the more often you can watch a film without getting bored, then it must be a favourite. But then, there are films I don't particularly like watching, such as Casino (head in a vice! head in a vice!) but still love. So I've argued myself out of my original statement. Hmm. I don't know what defines favourite films then.

Actually I was just kidding...

My favourite 6 are (of those I can think of - not being Star Wars):

1. The Crow
2. Desperado
3. Usual Suspects
4. Who will love my children
5. Jackie Brown
6. Pretty Woman

Hmmm to many to even think of, but would probably include:

Usual Suspects
Casino
Life of David Gale
The English Patient
Goodfellas
Shawshank

Perhaps a film that makes you forget your surroundings as you're drawn right in to the movie or perhaps being able to relate to what you're seeing. To be fair though it could just be one moment inthe film that just touches you. That's my theory anyway.

That's why I choose Harvey, everyone around him thinks he's nuts but he's very happy with who he is and how he goes about his day. Everyone else thinks he shouldn't be doing what he is and that he should be living a "normal" life.

I made my girlfriend watch "Harvey" and she pretty much talked over all the bits that mad the film what it was. Anyway, she watched it again when I was out and when I got back she understood why it was one of my fav's.

The fantasic delivery of James Stewart as he explains how he met Harvey and how his life is so much fuller with him in it.

"We go in as strangers but we come out as frienRAB" stunning! It just makes the film and allows you the privilidge of seeing the world through Elwood's eyes.

If you've never seen it I suggest you look out for it. Have a look here at IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042546/

Another great James Stewart movie (apart form "It's a wonderful life" is "Mr Smith Goes To Washington")
