Okay, so what does everyone consider to be their worst film?. I'm not talking about rubbish like Plan 9 from Outer Space, but films that just really got on your nerves.

I'll start with my own...

Deathwish 2
A dreadful, wretched movie in so many different ways. In fact, worRAB cannot express my contempt for this trash, so I shall just condense it to edited highlights:

* Contains the most graphic, and gratuitous, rape and murder scene ever committed to mainstream film;
* Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, we're treated to another rape scene, this time of a disabled girl - who promptly commits suicide by jumping out the window... and is then impaled on spiked railings.
* Poorly written dialogue, pretty dire acting.
* Rehashed storyline from the first film, but without its wit and knowing social commentary;
* Directed by Michael Winner, so you can guess the kind of quality we're talking here.

Any more?

Slipstream.

Only went as it had `luke skywalker` in it or Mark Hamill if you prefer. Biggest piece of turd i've ever seen committed to celluloid. 2 hours of pointless gash.

Moulin Rouge - I'd rather poke myself in the eyes with a sharp stick than sit through that rubbish again. :eek:

Also "The War of the Roses" which I went to the cinema to see and then realised that all the funny bits were in the trailer and that the film was awful. :mad:

"It Couldn't Happen Here" - I'm a big Pet Shop Boys fan and saw this when it came out as well. Terrible film. Appalling. :(

Did someone say 'something about mary' that film is brilliantly hilarious, how can you not like it.

'The village' was good but not what i was expecting. The trailers had made it look more like a horror so I went to the cinema expecting to be scared and left disappointed cos it wasn't that kind of film. However I watched it again when it was released on DVD and appreciated how good it actually was a lot more.

Mars Attacks is aweful, ive never actuall been able to watch it all the way through.

lol probably this film me and my mates who saw this film at the time called young warlocks. we rented it as it said it was a horror movie and fancied a scare, but horror movie well yeah it was but not in a good sense. the blokes in it were all gay and always taking their clothes off and the girls never took off one item of clothing. im not gay myself or anything but the campness of the film with the really crap acting made me switch it off not long after the start.

Never have I been so disapointed in a film as with 'The Beach'. Its weird because I reckon the book is in my top 5 all time reaRAB with the movie in the worst 5 Ive watched!

The Doors - overrated director's overblown tribute to an overblown band

Judge Dredd - great opportunity turned into a halfbaked Stallone vehicle

All Richard Curtis's films

Mummy Returns - quite liked the first one, this was crude one braincell rubbish

Batman and Robin - the pits

Totally agree except I saw Vanilla Sky first and I enjoyed it then saw "Open Your Eyes" and realised that the Hollywood remake was a total travesty!

1) Saturday Night Fever (John Trovolta)
2) That'll be the day (David Essex)
3) Stardust (david Essex)
4) Blow (Johnny Depp)
5) Hairspray (Ricky Lake)

Quite an old collection, considering im only 19!!! :o

Dukes of hazzard. Hardly the remake of the series. The whole film just evolves around Jessica Simpson and her skimpy little shorts. All the acting is SO wooden and there isn't really a story behind it, just a couple of punches and car scenes. Wouldn't even consider the dvd.

Absolutely agree. The film version is totally crap. I hate the way he gets together with not one but two of the girls on the beach. In the book he gets with neither. It's stupid.

Vanilla Sky was bad but I'm not Tom Cruise's biggest fan so maybe I'm biased.

Ocean's Twelve is the worst sequel ever and I so enjoyed Eleven.

Mission to Mars. Would have walked out of the cinema but there were a group of us and the others seemed to enjoy it. What was Gary Sinese thinking of?
