5'9" 170# 45yrs. Used to have an issue w/ numb hands, but I've gotten better abt holding my weight with abs and taking it off the wrists.

5'9" 172, 43 years. No comfort problems for me. The numb hands went away with the installation of bar end weights. I've done a couple of 300-400 mile days with no hangover.

Well, I bet I'm the shortest guy here
I'm like 5'2-130-almost 29 yrs old
Though I hate to ride my bike with one hand on the floor but nothing I could do..
by the way, I have no problem holding the bike though..
I guess u will just need to find the balance

24 years old. 6'3" 250 pounds but the in shape kind of pounds. the 848 is the most comfortable thing ive ever been on shy of the bright pink vespa that I bought for my ex which is now my primary means of transportation around manhattan.

I'm 5"10 and 185 lbs, 29 years old. I've got a bad back so after an hour of continuous riding I need to take a break. The bike is obviously set up for race, not touring, so it's expected that it isn't the most comfortable bike in the world. I'm sure with the right suspension set up and some clip ons, you guys having issues can certainly get a bit more comfort.

6.1 250 39 years first bike ever getting used to the vibration on the hwy only issue is my left elbow gets a pain spot when I am done riding love the sound and the attention i get from my bike. I put my left hand on the tank to relieve the pressure on my left elbow. btw how many miles do you guys get on a full tank i avg 200 for a 7 dollar fill up.

6ft 1in ,200lbs ,45 yrs old in a few days, fairly good shape & active. Ride a SS 800. Can usually do about an hour or so then have to stop and stretch. My fingers and wrists start to hurt after about 1/2 hour. I also move around on the bike quite a bit .
I have been using padded weight lifting gloves latley and they seem to help with the sore wrist and hand numbness. Otherwise the bike is so fun to ride , i just deal with any discomfort.

5' 10" 165 pounds. 46yo. The 1098 is WAY more comfortable than my previous 996. After an hour or so on the highway without moving I get a bit stiff but I rarely do that anyway. A busted spine in 3 places as a teenager has long term side effects on comfort regardless what I ride. I can do a full day on the 1098 in the mountains and feel great. It's just those long boring highway stretches without moving around on it that make me sore.
