6'0", 220lbs. 49 yrs old. The 1098s gets uncomfortable after long rides, but I didn't buy it for comfort. For what it's worth, my F4 is a little less uncomfortable. And the 907ies are much more comfortable, but then, they're sport touring bikes, and one would expect them to be more comfortable. As for the Spectre, it's a more upright position, but it handles so poorly that I don't ever feel comfortable. For me, there's physical and mental comfort. Sport bikes aren't as comfotable as Gold Wings, but they handle better than uprights and cruisers, and good handling provides me with a comfort level that outweighs any physical discomfort. And then there's choppers, which are about as uncomfortable as a man can get, and don't handle worth a damn, but they look cool!

5'7", 170lbs., 55 years. Love this bike and its ergos.
My '06 CBR1000RR was painful in stock form so I had Heli Bars installed. This bike does not need anything for me. My only gripe is its thirst for premium unleaded!

5' 9" 170lbs first superbike so it took some getting used to. My fingers on my left get sore especially in heavy traffic. On long rides I have to move my ass fwd or aft and also lay my little pot belly on the tank. Not too bad. Mirrors are useless!

6'- 200lbs 45 years young. My 21 year old boy posted on Facebook "My Dad, the baddest Mo.Fo. on the planet. He never thought I would see it.

300 mile is all I want to do in a day in Eastern Montana. Have done 500, not a happy a$$ that day, or the next.
100 mile on PCH1 in cali is about the same as 300 in montana. It can take 3 hours.

know of the icon brand and all...but,are they really bike boots? nice

Bike boots? I dont know. I only see this type of gear in the Mags. I think one might see them on the back of a GSX-R, along with a tramp stamp, tank top and no gloves.
