Whats your fave Poltergeist film?

I, II or III?

I have to admit I like them all, even three despite its cringeworthy Reverend Kane + the lame end due to Heather O'Rourke dying before it could be completed but I have always liked the second one the best due to the amazing and spine - tingling performance of Reverend Kane by Julian Beck, who also like Heather died soon after it was made. The first film is the one that gets the most critical praise but I dont think its 'that' great to be honest.

Whats your fave?
 
The original will always be the best for me - it's a well orchestrated thrill ride that's still fun to watch.
II had a terrible second half - dodgy effects/designs and ropey execution soured the whole thing for me. III was pure excrement!
 
Agree Rev Kane is a scary mo fo, speshly when he turns up at the door singing that song ... 'god is iiiin his holy tem-ple!'

i liked the first one a LOT though and have watched it HUNDRERAB of times, one of my fave films when i was at school. Best bit was playing in slow mo the scene when the investigator is eating the chicken leg and rips his face off :D
