all horror franchises with 5 or more movies whats your favorite

ive been on a mission to see all these movies so far ive only seen all the halloweens and all the nightmares.

BUT for me halloween is prob my fav.
night mare had 3 good movies out of 7 the 1st 3rd and new nightmare.

halloween had 1st 2nd 4th 6th H20
 
Halloween for me too.
It has a level of class that the others don't.

I guess you could say Psycho was a franchise (it had 5 movies if ur counting remakes).
The Fly also had about 5 movies made.
 
halloween for me too :D with 1 2 and one of the middle ones being good along with H20 and i quite liked resurrextion aswell

although chilRAB play is great too with 1 2 and 4 being really good

Nightmare on elm street has a few great ones but only a few
 
know it wasnt an option but it has to be saw. the others were classics but their sequels never even closely matched up to the original. but saw? it just gets better.
 
The Halloween Movies
In particular the first movies... anything from there on was ok but not the best.

A Nightmare on Elm Street
I liked them all... except maybe the crossover with Jason.

Fright Night
Only two of them but they were great.

The Hellraiser Movies
Again the first is the best but I watched and enjoyed them all.

The Aliens Series
Alien the best, Aliens a close second... just the creatures and the idea was very cool... and the first movie made me feel very paranoid.

The Saw Movies
I almost forgot them... brilliant films

Never watched the Friday 13th series... didn't see the appeal... :o
 
Poltergeist

For the first two. III is awful.

Alien

For the first two also. Hate the third, and also fourth film.

Halloween

For the first, second and fourth films. The others range from serviceable (H20) to damn right stupid (III, 5, Curse, Resurrection).

Child's Play

For the first two films, and Bride of Chucky. The others are poor.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

For the first, third and New Nightmare. Not really a fan of the others.

Hellraiser

For the first two. Forget the rest.

Candyman

For the first two. Once again... the third film is a load of rubbish.

The Evil Dead

For the trilogy (although, the third film isn't really a horror).
 
i noticed when watching the halloween and nightmare movies
that you can take 2 directions with the sequals

in halloween just watch 1 2&h20 and its the perfect trilogy

same for nightmare just watch 1 3&New nightmare.

or the other option watch all the sequals that make no sence whatsoever with each passing movie haha.

i found nightmare 5&6 to be really really insulting to freddy it was so bad thank god CRAVEN came back and finished it in style.


but saw yea i love them movies hopfully 4 will be good
 
Friday 13th for me. I know they're not the greatest films or even that scary, but they are old school Horror and Jason is brilliant.

Amityville 1, 2*, erm some after awful 3.
