What's wrong with my Pontiac Firebird?

I have a 99 firebird. My service engine lite came on about a month ago. I took it to advanced auto & they said I had a misfire on #3. So I changed all of my spark plugs & wires. It still said the same thing and the light was still on. So I changed the module & coil pack. We even rearranged the packs to make sure it wasn't just the rewiring. It continues to chug and acts like it wants to stall out. It does it real bad when in a strain like going up a hill or trying to go faster. I put fuel injector cleaner and carb cleaner. It still does it & still says misfire #3. What else could it be?

bad ignition coil/engine coil.
torque converter/brake converter going out
check trans fluid?

There can be many things that make the car act like this, I suggest removing the sparks and checking the area inside the spark cartridge to make sure no oil or dirt fell in while changing them. when you changed the wires did you double check the spark distance? some car models are very picky as to the distance of the plug to the spark catch. use a measurement tool when doing this for more accurate reading.

Was the misfire code the only code? first check for vaccum leaks with brake clean do you know how to? then take a old plug that is good take wire off #3 and put it on old plug then have someone crank engine do you have spark make sure to ground plug to metal and use rubber handle grips to hold is there spark if yes check compression on # 3.
