So I have been having this smell coming from my jeep Grand Cherokee and it shifts really hard. So I took it to have had 3 different places check it 1 said it was oil from the oil change the 2nd one said they had never smelled that kind of smell before and the third one ended up tightening up the hose to my coolant and said that was what I was smelling and it should go away. Well last night all of a sudden it got really hard to steer then I noticed the car had died right in the middle of the road, but when I pulled over and restarted it it had no trouble I'm no mechanic but I don't believe that the coolant hose made my car die. I can't figure out whats going on? Can anyone help me please.
