What's wrong with my iPhone screen?

So there's a crack in my iPhone screen but it's not exactly a crack. It's like a small one centimeter long crack but it seems to be under neath the screen, as if there's something wrong with the picture on the screen and not the actual touch screen.
Do you know why it would be like this? Should I return the iPhone and ask for another one?
I've had thr phone for about three months so I don't know if
I can return it or not.
 
Warranty is a year, it seems you cracked the LCD screen, u see the screen u touch is like a secondary screen, you cracked the actual more expensive screen. Either appl will void your warranty for physical damage or will say it's device malfunction because it cracked without above screen cracking in which case u get a new phone free. If they try an charge u don't do it there are many places who do it for quarter of apples price.
