Whats wrong with my cars audio system?

Check your sub on another amp or a home amp if you have one

Because the amp lights up doesnt mean that it is working
check the amp with another speaker

check the RCAs'

check your REMOTE wire(blue)make sure it is not grounding somewhere

check your (GROUND) on your amp"most likely the cause" ;your amp will show lights on but will not work
 
Recently my sub and amp stopped playing but my amp still lights up. I'm guessing this means my subwoofer blew out and i just need to buy i new one but before i do i wanna make sure cause i dont know alot about this stuff. Could it be something else? thanks
