What's wrong with my car....HELP!!?

I was having all sorts of issues with my car. So I replace the intake gasket just like I was told to do. But my car is still doing funny things. Here is what it is doing. I will be driving along and all the sudden I loose power (push gas nothing) then all my dash lights go on and start beeping at me, along with all the gauges go up then down. This is maybe a 15 to 30 sec thing. Then all the sudden everything is fine and back to normal. But my service vehicle soon and service engine soon lights stay on. I've have these looked at and reset but they still come back on and stay on. Also the other day for the first time my head lights we not on and I have auto head lights that are on all the time. And when I got back into the car and started it again they were on like they were suppose to be. Is this my main computer or another computer component going out? Please help. Spent way to much money so far and no one can give me right problem.

Your best bet is to have a diagnostic test ran on the car. It will cost you about $80, but you should know right away what is wrong. Try to have the mechanic spray water on the engine while it is hooked up to the machine. I had a Ford F150 that was doing things like that, and it was on a diagnostic machine several times, and it didn't come back with anything, once he sprayed the engine with water everything went nuts, and we found out it was just bad plug wires and distributor.
