What's wrong with my Buick?

A few weeks back my car began running a bit rough. I did not think much of it, since it is my winter beater, and it is not worth pouring money into. But what got my attention was the CHECK ENGINE light. It would only turn on when I would apply a lot of pressure to the gas pedal, such as passing or merging on the highway. Fine, I thought, just drive it gently.

As the weather became much colder, my check engine light came on more frequently, sometimes within seconds of starting the car. I also became aware of the throttle becoming "sticky", so I would let the car warm up for up to 5 mins instead of 30 seconds. This helped for a few days, until one morning I noticed that the car was slowly increasing speed even with my foot off the gas pedal. Then the CEL light came on, I parked my car, and heard the engine revving loudly. I do not have a tachometer, but the car was certainly running erratically. The next day, I drove for just a few seconds, and the BRAKE light came on! The warning chime came on, and would not stop, needless to say it was incredibly annoying!

Once up to normal running temperatures, the car runs like a champ. If I turn off the car for 5 mins to an hour or two and come back, no warning lights come on, no annoying chimes, and all seems well. My questions are:

A: Why is the throttle sticking and causing the engine to rev?
B: What might be triggering the CEL, only after applying strong pressure to the gas/ occasionally on startup?
C: What is making the brake light turn on and stay on until the car's engine is hot, and how the heck can I disable the incredibly annoying chime, that is serving no real purpose, seeing as the brakes function normally? The car drives okay, but the chime is making me go crazy just wanna rip the damn thing out lol.

All input is appreciated THANK YOU
