Whats wrong with my 1998 Dodge Durango ?

My Durango dies when its just idling or if i put it in reverse or stop at a stop light or slow to turn. It runs fine otherwise and runs strong as long as i keep giving it gas. My check engine light is not on and i can't find a vaccum leak iv'e cleaned the air filter checked the spark plugs taken it to the shop noone knows what the deal is. Does anyone have a clue as to what this might be?
 
well well well this might be you lucky day..I had the same symptoms for a long time before i figured out it was the IDLE CONTROL VALVE its in the intake manifold replace it (EZ to do, 2 screws and a wire clip) . Also clean the area it goes into with some carb cleaner.

it could be the battery either its loose or needs replacement other thing might be the starter ignition or alternator
