What's wrong with my '02 ford focus radio? It acts like it can't get any reception.?

The radio worked when I started driving (just bought it used) but within 10 minutes it started to lose it's reception. Within another 10-15 minutes it would not receive any stations. I tried a CD in the 6-cd player and it played fine for 30 minutes. I took it out and added 2 more CD's and it would not play them and will not eject them. Anyone have this problem? Can the stereo be fixed? Or do I throw it away?
 
my sisters did the same thing but then she sold it after it was paid off so I don't know what was wrong with it
 
I had an 03 ford focus ZX3 and the same thing happened to me. So I just got a new cd player at best buy.
