Amanda - i have spoken to the doc and she said that my problems could be due to depression so she booked me in for cognitive behavioural therapy /QUOTE]
Hi:
I'm glas that you asked the doc. whether your symptoms have anything to do with depression.

First, therapy and counselling is a good idea to find out you REALLY have depression. After that, the doc. most likely would put you on medication. Because, in my knowledge, therapy alone does NOT alleviate the symptoms all of which you truthfully descirbed here, on this board.

In mental illness, whether mild or severe, there are NO tools to dx correctly, such as MRI or X-ray to examine inside the brain. An only tool is a truthful and honest description on your everyday's life, such as saddnes, anxiety/girls and etc. Most cases why the docs. not able to dx acurately your issue is that most of first-timer mental ill patients are very hesitant to speak out his/her problems, although you sound not such.

Also, one of your previous posts, ... money is one of issues due to expensive meds. for Major Depression, if you'd really have one. Do you live UK, ... not US? If you're a British citizen, ... it's hard for me to help you on this respect. However, here, for instance, US there are some programs for mental ill folks to get meds. through work-programs designed to those. If have one in your area, try to talk, first a counsellor or one of social service personells whether you can get at least a discount meds along with doc's appts.

It's very true, ... meds. are quite expensive, particularly most effective meds. for mental illnesses. Then, I strongly suggest that you'd visit Social Service Bldg. nearby your residence and talk your current situation dated back to at age 14. Also, if therapy alone does NOT help you feeling better, then tell the truth to both a therapist and the doc. that you may need an effective med. to get through, due to long and hard sufferrings. You need to be patient, but still an insistence is important if you'd get well.

One thing on which you can be optimistic on this is that with a good med. /med. combo., you could lead almost normal life, a good job, education and eventually have a family.

If any other questions you have, please post here back on this board.

To me it sounds like u either have a poor circulation

OR

because of your previous history wiv eating problems i could be a lack of nutrients...
How long ago did u say u wer suffering from this? if its wivin a couple of years it may take a long time for your body to recouperate! Jus keep up wiv your meals (making sure you have a balanced diet) and also take pro-biotic vitamins or jus a multi vitamin tablet once a day, this will encourage your vitamin and mineral intake which could also help u benefit from a stronger immune system. Poor nutrition can lead to catching bacteria influenced illness and viruses easier. =]

Hope this helps =]
