okay i had a crank that was a 44 tooth and then an 18 tooth but i got a new crank that has a 42 tooth and i still have an 18 tooth but now my bike feels smoother but i have to pedal harder to get the same speed what happened why do i have to pedal twice as hard to get somewhere i know just going to a 44 tooth to a 42 tooth doesnt even make a difference but then why does it feel like i go nowhere ??
