I write haiku's a lot and the form is:
5 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables
And I was just wondering why it was like that. I know that it's Japanese poetry, do these numbers have anything to do with the country, or is it just random?
I wasn't asking for a haiku. I was asking why it's "5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables."
Haikus are fun
^That's 4 syllables...
But sometimes don't make sense
^That's 6 syllables...
