What's with The Art of War (2000) [with Wesley Snipes] ending?

In the end does Snipe's character "Shaw" die? He get's shot, and the FBI say to get the coroner... but then suddenly he's alive again!?!?! Or is the France scene supposed to be heaven/dream?
