Whats With FOX & Sunday Nights?

I think the others our right...FOX is waiting until the write time to air new episodes...I mean the Holiday season is mostly dominated by specials & then Most People are Busy with the fallout of the Holidays in January Im sure new episodes will come back in Febuary. But then again fox did Kill off their saturday morning cartoon block...SO I would'nt put anything past them!:p

But almost nothing aired in December and there hasn't been a new Family Guy since mid-November. That (IMHO) is very unusual.

Fox's Saturday morning block and their Sunday night block are two very, very different things, targeted towards two different demographics. So that's not a really valid point.

.

Not Really TV Networks our quarky & Unpredictable these days

True I relize that Sat. morinings were aimed at Kids & Tweens Where as Sun evenings are aimed at Teens/Adults. But You see Both our blocks of animated programing..Given FOX gave Saturday morning rights to 4kids..But still it was silly for them to give up on the Demographic completly after 4kids failed! & If They don't like the Ratings for Animation Domination they may pull it too! (although i hope not!!! )

This is what I've been pondering for a very long time. Fox might as well give Seth a break for a year, because they have nearly twenty unused, but finished Family Guy episodes to air. Most are horridly out-of-date anyways (one of the last airings included Lindsey Lohan still being heterosexual, as well as having a deaf women call Moviefone to get tickets to 300, but instead getting the Last Mimzy [both debuted in early 2007!]), we might as well expect a "cutting edge" reference to the iPhone or Superbad during the next episodes, whenever they air.

And this can't just all be victims of the strike. For many years prior, the Simpsons has begun the new production cycle BEFORE the end of the year. Family Guy aired at least twenty episodes in both of the first and second post-revival seasons. You can argue sweeps and ratings and all that, but that FG backlog is just unexcusable...

Ummmm...how is she slutty if she isn't having sex? Unless you mean she's having sex with everyone else except for you. In which case I would be questioning why you are waiting around for her instead of having sex with other girls. And if this was the correct analogy I would have to question who it is that Fox is showing Family Guy to other than its usual audience. Though, in both the case of the guy waiting around for the girl and the viewer waiting around for new Family Guy episodes, I would suggest that they both stop waiting around and find someone/something else to do/watch.

My idea for the reasons why there's repeats on those days:

1/4: Fox wanted to reshow the 24:Redemption movie before premiering the new season of 24.

1/11: Two night premiere of 24.

1/18: Fox may not want to risk going up against the AFC championship game on that day.
