Whats with Duck characters and their attitude?

What does Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Duck man, Darkwing Duck & Plucky Duck have in comon?...Are their attitudes. I mean, they get mad very easy, they go out with a rant and or start a fight.

Is that a bad thing?...HECH NO! I love it. :D

But why do almost (Just in case I missed one) have these comon attitudes?
 
Well not all of the characters you mentioned fit this description, but Donald & Daffy are both second in command to Mickey & Bugs. That probably leads to a lot of tension.
 
Wade Duck from "Garfield and Friends" does not have an anger problem. He might be panicky whenever he gets scared, which is a lot, but he is not a cold character. As for the others, Plucky Duck is supposed to be based on Daffy Duck, so obviously, he is greedy, but he is not as selfish as Daffy is. Donald is also most often polite, and really, he is just misunderstood. He only lashes out in anger when someone is trying to annoy him, the same applies to Daisy. Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are meaner though, not Webby, however, she is very sweet. As for Darkwing Duck, when in the hey does he lash out in anger? I might have not watched all the episodes, but he is not an angry character overall, neither is Launchpad McQuack. I think, though, the only two famous ducks that do have temper tantrums are Donald and Daffy, but being second bananas does not sound like that easy of a job. If you were second banana to someone who would always come out higher than you, how would you feel? I might feel bad. I do not know if I will be "angry", as Donald and Daffy humorously and personally are, but it might annoy me.

Can anyone think of any more famous cartoon ducks that might fit this cliche?

P.S. Plucky's parents are not bad tampered, I forgot them, but what about that character from "Camp Lazlo", Ed (?), is he a duck? He most certainly has a grumpy character.
 
Well, it might have something to do with how an actual duck behaves. A buddy of mine had a couple of ducks, a female and a male, that decided to use his swimming pool as their nesting ground. He wouldn't have minded much, except those ducks were pretty messy and pooped in the pool and dragged twigs and sticks and other things into the pool. He tried to make them go away but of course they were protecting their territory, but they were pretty darn obnoxious. Needless to say he finally got so tired of it that he disposed of the male duck and seeing this the female flew off. Sad, I know, but he had to do what he had to do.:(
 
When I read the title, I thought Duck characters were snobs or jerks or bullys yet they are. During the Cartoon Network Christmas in July marathon this year Daffy(in the Looney Tunes Christmas Special : Bah Humduck!) was acting like a jerk to the characters and when he died (but came back alive of course) no one cared of his death. As for Donald, he mostly nearly destroyed his nephews in the Disney Cartoon Shorts plus Chip and Dale.
 
I live by a pond. I have ducks in my yard every morning. They are noisy and fight all the time... there are a ton of feathers in my yard that they pull out of eachother.

But geese are even worse. The ducks just direct their anger at eachother, geese hiss at and try to bite humans.
